Ski trip (31 Jan – 6 Feb 2026)

For the first time in a long time I felt like that young girl again, free of worry, making new friends and enjoying the outdoors. I loved every moment.

My ice breaker question on the first evening with OAG was ‘who am I under all my other roles’ That was the exact reason I was there with OAG. I’d list who I was when I was not a mother, a daughter, a friend, a colleague. I was there to remind myself …. The trip to the Peaks with all the wonderful ladies I met helped me to remember who I am and what I love. Thank you OAG.

This ski trip was incredible! I have never felt so brave, strong and supported. Experiencing it all alongside such wonderful women was super empowering.

The whole weekend was so inclusive, no matter who people are, everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. It was great to be part of a social weekend where the main focus wasn’t around alcohol, but more about connecting with each other and exploring nature.

For one weekend, I don’t have to think about what’s next. I can just connect with others, enjoy the outdoors, and just take things as they come. There are no expectations, it’s very therapeutic.

The New Forest weekend was so much fun! Most people came alone and everyone was so friendly. It was an amazing wholesome weekend, laughing with people who had been strangers and trying canoeing for the first time. I definitely want to go on more weekends and would recommend it!

What’s not to love about OAG? They host the most incredible adventures with great company of supportive and like-minded ladies, the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and find most confidence exploring.

The trip to Iceland exceeded my expectations, the country was incredible, the itinerary was packed and so well planned and the hotels were stunning! All of the girl were wonderful and so easy to chat to! I would encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zone, go on a group trip and have an amazing time!

I had a lovely time connecting with beautiful people while exploring such a beautiful place. The trip was jam packed with lots of different experiences that I have never done before. Amy and Tini truly made this trip so spectacular for us, no problem was ever too big or too small, they are such lovely and kind people, they are what made this trip so special so I would like to say a massive thank you to them!

Rocked up to the OAG girls weekend on a Friday night not knowing a single soul. But by the time I left I had made so many connections I may not have done in my normal day to day life. Lots of positive encouragement and motivation by every single woman on this trip ..my advice is if you get the opportunity, go sign up for an adventure.

I had a great weekend with the OAG, I am not a particularly outdoorsy girl but want to become one, and I think joining the OAG was the perfect way to do this! The weekend was super fun, the girls were lovely, and the organisation was good. I’ll be back for a trip next year!

The OAG weekend in Lake District was everything I had hoped it would be and more. I joined OAG to meet more women with the same obsession with the outdoors that I have. I met amazing women, felt like the whole weekend was well organised without being over the top and felt comfortable and included the entire time. The women that attended the weekend with me were so supportive, friendly, and enthusiastic. It was well priced and made the possibility of doing more of these types of weekends feel doable/realistic. 

As a lady in my 40s I was nervous about joining a group like OAG, in case I was the oldest or most unfit there but as soon as you meet the groups the nerves melt away. This group caters for all ages and all abilities. The support is phenomenal. You can do as much or as little as you want, with someone always ready to provide praise and straighten your crown.

For a first solo trip this ticked all the boxes! Very well organised, knowledgeable tour guide, amazing experiences and unforgettable memories! I loved the camaraderie and adventurous ladies! I have definitely got the OAG travel bug! Planning the next one already!!

I always leave an OAG day and weekend with a full heart, I love connecting with other women and pushing myself to try new things. 

This group has literally changed my life. It has given me the confidence to get out there and try new things no matter your age. The encouragement and support for each other is incredible. Love love love OAG!

“I joined OAG because I just wanted to meet other people that had similar interests to me. I know that I want to travel more but I’m not yet confident enough to go abroad on my own. I thought it would be a great place to meet other people that wanted to do the same, which I have. It’s a great weekend and you can do stuff afterwards (with the people I’ve met).”

I undertook the Y3P with OAG and they made the trip feel so safe and it was well organised. The mountain leaders they used made sure to have lots of MLs for the group so we could all walk at our own pace. The group was so lovely as well, if someone stopped and was on their own, everyone who passed would check you were okay or wait with you. The trip was so well organised and they had thought of everything!

The weekend was seamless, Sophie and the team did an excellent job from start to finish. It’s a lovely way to meet like-minded people while doing something out of a comfort zone.

An amazing weekend away in a beautiful place – I had the chance to meet other girls with similar interests & we had the best time getting to know each other whilst doing really fun activities. The weekend also had a great mix of activities, as well as enough time to chill out and get our energy back. I felt so exhausted but refreshed at the end!

I wanted to say a huge thank you for the Snowdonia weekend, I honestly had the best time and met some amazing girls. We’re all very like-minded and it was like we’d known each other for ages – this is what I’d hoped for but didn’t think it would actually happen! Just wanted to let you know how much we all appreciated the work and effort you put into these weekends & I’m so excited for the Lake District weekend in July!

The Lake District was the second big weekend I have attended and it lived up to all expectations. I always leave these weekends feeling so empowered and ready to take on the world. Thank you Sophie and everyone involved behind the scene, see you again soon x 

The trip was an amazing opportunity to have a weekend away adventuring with like-minded people in a fantastic almost tropical-feeling location. Everything was taken care of and activities were tailored as flexibly as possible to suit the group’s desires and abilities on the weekend.

The trip was honestly magic. It seems overwhelming at first being in such a big group, but you all have that one thing in common – the love of the outdoors – this enables you to connect to complete strangers from all walks of life instantly. The women were amazing, and Sophie is so easy going and approachable. Honesty it was one of the best trips I’ve ever done. Couldn’t recommend the OAG trips enough!

I’ve been on a few OAG trips, and they never disappoint. Meeting amazing women and conquering fears is the ultimate feel good combination. Can’t recommend enough!

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I met an incredible group of beautiful women who all laughed together, talked about everything and anything and above all honestly supported one another. It’s not every day that you meet a group of strangers and actually get on with everyone and have an amazing time. I can’t wait for the next trip now and to catch up with everyone once I’ve got over major holiday blues!

This experience exceeded all my expectations. The weekend was action packed, fun and very well organised. You get to meet women from all different walks of life and share special moments, life stories and make friends for life. I can not recommend Sophie and OAG more highly.

There’s nothing like taking a huge leap outside of your comfort zone and putting yourself in a situation which promotes growth. That’s exactly what I did and everyone should do the same! Growth doesn’t happen in the comfort zone and I intend to do more OAG events and continue to grow.

I was so excited to attend my first OAG weekend and get out into nature with like minded people. The trip surpassed my expectations and I met so many lovely people who share a passion for the great outdoors. The weekend was so well planned that I really could just relax and enjoy the time spent with all the lovely people.

The trip was brilliantly organised, and our host Jess was super welcoming & great to have with us. An excellent team of MLs made the day fun despite some challenging weather & I would definitely recommend OAG for a similar challenge.

I’ve been on a few trips with OAG now and I feel it allows you to travel and explore the world within a safe environment. Bali has always been on my list, but I wasn’t confident am enough to go alone. OAG gave me the opportunity to travel with like-minded women and enjoy sunsets and sunrises together!
