OAG welfare and safeguarding statement

At Outdoor Adventure Girls the welfare of our community is our number one priority.

We are always looking for ways to keep our community safe on both meet ups and weekend trips.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all of our community, both online and at in-person events or meet ups. We will not tolerate misconduct of any kind.

We take great care when it comes to planning events and we also encourage the use of the events tab within the Facebook groups, over the use of WhatsApp groups, as they are harder to manage and maintain a level of safety we want to offer our community.

We want to ensure all members of our community can assess any issues happening within the Facebook groups or at events and the members feel they can raise concerns before, during or after an event if they have not felt safe.

It is so important to use that we maintain a positive attitude and all of our community are respectful to each other at all times. Disrespectful, rude, inappropriate or anti-social behaviour is not tolerated and may result in people being removed from our community.

If you feel unsafe at any of our meet ups or events please contact the welfare team and we will do everything we can to support you and resolve a situation. You can email: [email protected].
