ITINERARY

Outdoor Adventure Girls offers bespoke travel tours for their 75,000+ members. The international trips will focus on outdoor adventure, pushing guests out of their comfort zone and creating incredible connections in some of the most-sought after bucket list destinations on Earth.

For this OAG Overseas trip we are heading to the beautiful ski resort of Morzine-Avoriaz for seven days (6-nights) with a stay at the amazing catered Chalet Plan des Rochers, with ski-to-door slope only 50 metres away and a lift to start your day around 100m away.

The Portes du Soleil ski area is one of the largest ski resorts in the world, with over 600km of groomed slopes spanning across France and Switzerland and the Avoriaz ski area is one of the best in Europe.

The chalet sleeps 12 people, across six bedrooms, and included within the trip you get daily delicious breakfast with cooked option and continental selection everyday, daily afternoon tea, freshly cooked cakes or biscuits with a savoury option and hot drinks and daily 5-course dinner served on all 6-nights with specially selected wines.

And when it comes to getting on to the slopes, the trip includes a five-day Avoriaz Skipass and five-days ski equipment hire with local Morzine company.

During the day we will all head off to the mountain, and spend the day skiing together, or in smaller groups. We will plan to meet for lunch at certain spots, to bring us all back together and then in the evenings we will have time to relax, get to know each other and enjoy some mulled wine. In addition to this, we will also head to the famous Folie Douce on one afternoon for a couple of drinks and to listen to music – the ultimate après ski experience!

The chalet is situated at the foot of the ski slopes that link Morzine with Avoriaz in the area of Les Prodains, across the piste from the main lift to Avoriaz (1800m). You can finish your day with a blue, red or black piste straight back into the back garden.

Chalet Le Plan des Rochers has it’s own chalet host, sauna and outdoor hot tub, making it perfect for groups of families or friends. A typical day starts with a wake-up call if you wish followed by a delicious mix of both cooked and continental breakfasts, which change each day. On your return from the slopes you can pop in to the private bar at Au Coin du Feu before heading back to your own private sauna and outdoor hot tub.

In the evening,  the chefs will prepare and serve a hearty 5-course meal along with specially selected wines. They offer a choice of meat or vegetarian meals each evening and cater for special dietary requirements. You can see the chalet floorplan here.
