THE TOUR

Since 2023, Outdoor Adventure Girls has been offering bespoke travel tours for their 40,000 members. The international trips will focus on outdoor adventure, pushing guests out of their comfort zone and creating incredible connections with other women in the most sought-after bucket list destinations on Earth.

For this OAG Overseas tour, we are heading to New Zealand. This incredible bucket list adventure destination offers you everything you need all on one island. From the glaciers on the west to the fjords in the south, and lots of time to explore the mountains, lake and nature throughout this epic itinerary. All of this and more is why we are so excited to take you here in 2027.

Day 1: Christchurch

Day 2: Tekapo

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Travel to Tekapo
  • Lake Tekapo stop
  • Afternoon stroll up Cowans Hill

Day 3: Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Hooker Valley Track hike and glacier viewpoint
  • Travel to Queenstown via the Lindis Pass
  • Stop at Kawarau Gorge (bungy jumps – optional)
  • Cronwell ice cream stop

Day 4: Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Full day guided Routeburn Track hike + transport

Day 5: Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Milford Sound – Transport included from Queenstown + Cruise through the sound

Day 6: Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Morning hike (either Ben Lomond Saddle hike or Bob’s Cove)
  • Afternoon is free time to do extra activities e.g Shotover Jet, LOTR, Skyline Gondola

Day 7: Wanaka

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Travel to Wanaka with stop at the Cardrona Hotel
  • Go on a late morning Mount Iron hike before lunch
  • Free afternoon to do extra activities e.g. Boat trip or wine tasting at Rippon
  • Evening walk to visit the Wanaka Tree

Day 8: Wanaka

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Bike the Wanaka and Hawea Trails
  • Picnic lunch (BYO) with wild swim stop at Clutha River Seat

Day 9: Franz Josef

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Travel to Franz Josef via the Hasst Pass
  • Stop at Lake Hawea Lookout
  • Lake Matheson stop (if there is time)
  • Free afternoon for guests to enjoy activities of their choice

Day 10: Franz Josef

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Free morning to enjoy activities at your own pace
  • Te Koha Greenstone Carving and carve your own Pounamu workshop

Day 11: Christchurch

Meals: Breakfast box

Activities:

  • Travel to Greymouth
  • Tranzalpine Train from Greymouth to Christchurch through Arthur’s Pass

Day 12: Christchurch

Meals: Breakfast box and dinner

Activities:

  • Christchurch City Tour – Intrepid guide led – FOC
  • Riverside Kitchen, Private Cooking Class with dinner
  • Farewell group dinner

Day 13: Depart Christchurch

Meals: Breakfast box

  • Departure transfer included on a group basis

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation we stay at on OAG trips has been chosen to maximise your experience on this trip. You will be sharing a 4-pax dorm-style rooms with other guests throughout the trip. Single supplement is not available for this trip.

PRICE

£2,975 per person including all as stated above and must be booked via Intrepid Travel.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

✕ Flights to and from the trip (please speak to Intrepid about flights)
✕ Travel insurance for the trip
✕ Any additional meals or drinks not stated above
✕ Any additional activities not stated above
✕ Airport transfers if you arrive or depart outside of the recommended times

*There will be one transfer per trip for arrival and one for departure. Attendees will be recommended a flight, but if you book alternative flights, transfers will not be provided and will be at the cost of the guest.

INSURANCE

It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the appropriate travel insurance for this trip. It is compulsory for all guests to have travel insurance and we recommend securing your travel insurance at the point of booking. Please let us know you have appropriate travel insurance before the trip.

FLIGHTS

Flights are not included as we wanted to give you the option of where to fly when and where you want. However, if you want help booking flights, Intrepid Travel is on hand to help you throughout the booking process and can book flights for you if required.
