We going back to the Ben Nevis in September for another hike for Outdoor Adventure Girls.

Outdoor Adventure Girls – Ben Nevis

THE LOCATION
Join OAG as we take on the highest mountain in Scotland, the United Kingdom and the British Isles, Ben Nevis.
This day event includes trained mountain leaders who will meet you at the base of Ben Nevis, brief the group and then lead you up to the summit of Ben Nevis, for a once in a lifetime experience.
The summit is 1,345 metres above sea level and the hike takes around 7-9 hours, with the climb to the top taking around 4 hours, and the return 3 hours.
We are doing this hike with mountain leaders as going up Ben Nevis can be dangerous, and often extremely wet and windy, but with the right trained people, you will feel safe every step of the way.
THE SCHEDULE
Please note that this is subject to change, but will give you an idea of what to expect.
An itinerary will be sent to all booked guests one month before the event, with all details needed to attend the event.
There is also a WhatsApp chat for all attendees to plan car sharing and chatting before.
Saturday 9 September
8.30am: Meet at the starting point with your mountain leaders.
You will be given a safety briefing, meet your team for the day and once you’ve checked the route it’s time to go!
Hiking Ben Nevis is amazing bucket list experience and we believe it’s even better when you do it with a group of like-minded women supporting each other.
We will hike for around 7-8 hours in total and although this hike is challenging, with the right mountain guides, equipment and cheering on from the rest of the group it’s more than possible to do it with a smile on your face.
After getting to the summit we begin our journey down back to base for a celebratory drink.
5pm: Celebrate with a drink and a team high five!
