For this Outdoor Adventure Girls day event we are heading to the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in Wales to take on Crib Goch.
Situated on the west coast of Britain, covering 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, Snowdonia National Park is a living, working area, and is home to over 26,000 people. As well as being the largest National Park in Wales, Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain in England and Wales.
The park’s historic Snowdon Mountain Railway climbs to the summit of Wales’s highest mountain, Mount Snowdon, offering views across the sea to Ireland. The park is also home to an extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes and craggy peaks like Cader Idris and Tryfan.
Crib Goch means “red ridge” in the Welsh language and the highest point on the arête is 923 metres above sea level. This day hike includes a Grade 1 scramble on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). This means that you need to use your hands to climb short steep sections.
Please note that this is subject to change, but will give you an idea of what to expect.
An itinerary will be sent to all booked guests one month before the event, with all details needed to attend the event.
There is also a WhatsApp chat for all attendees to plan car sharing and chatting before.

8.30am: Meet at Pen y Pass with your mountain leaders.
You will be given a safety briefing, meet your team for the day and once you’ve checked the route it’s time to go!
Hiking Mount Snowdon is amazing bucket list experience and we believe it’s even better when you do it with a group of like-minded women supporting each other. And on this amazing day hike you also get to traverse the iconic Crib Goch too, within the safety of mountain leaders.
We will hike for around 6-7 hours in total and although this Snowdon hike is challenging, with the right mountain guides, equipment and cheering on from the rest of the group it’s more than possible to do it with a smile on your face.
After getting to the summit we begin our journey down back to base for a celebratory drink.
5pm: Celebrate with a drink and a team high five!
£50 per person
I can’t wait to host you on another OAG big weekend!
