This adventure is a two-night, three-day trip for women who want fresh air, good company and time outdoors.
We’ll start with a relaxed group dinner on Friday to settle in and get to know each other. On Saturday, we’ll take the ferry across Derwent Water and hike the Cat Bells circular route, with time for a dip in the lake and sunset at Friars Crag. Sunday brings canoeing and paddleboarding, followed by a final lunch together before heading home.
This weekend is all about getting outside, trying new things, and sharing the experience with others. It’s friendly, easy-going, and the perfect way to reset in the Lake District.
*This weekend is also Keswick Mountain Festival and Outdoor Adventure Girls will be involved all weekend, so we will have lots of other things for you to get involved in!

Accommodation
Our accommodation for the weekend is the impeccably placed YHA Keswick. Overlooking the River Greta and Fitz Park, with far reaching views to Latrigg and Skiddaw, YHA Keswick is a stunning, recently refurbished Lakeland hostel. The hostel also features a brand new Riverside Bar and Restaurant ,serving a varied menu of great food and drink
Our accommodation for the trip will be in 4-bed and 6-bed rooms, exclusive to our group.
NOTE: There is limited car parking at this accommodation on a first come, first served basis but as always, we encourage you to car share where possible – we love our planet!

What do I need to bring?
- Hiking/outdoor clothing including trail running shoes or hiking boots
