Kick start your Kendal Mountain Festival with OAG and Berghaus for a female-only hike that will bring together good company, honest conversation and meaningful time on the trail.

Event overview
Join us at Kendal Mountain Festival for a female-only hike, in partnership with Berghaus.
Walk alongside women pushing boundaries in the outdoors and hear about the ups and downs of embarking on bigger adventures. You’ll also get tips for developing your on-mountain skills and advice for carving out a career in the industry.
Whether you’re eyeing up your next big project, thinking about where the outdoors could take you, or simply looking for good company, come ready to walk, talk, and share a few stories before leaving with plenty of inspiration for whatever’s next.
- Date: Friday 20 November 2026
- Time: 9:30am (please arrive at 9:15am)
- Location: The Haus, Waterside Cafe & Bistro, Kent View, Kendal, LA9 4DZ
- Difficulty: Moderate – expect elevation, mud and uneven terrain
- Distance: Approx 5 miles
- Afterwards: Stay and enjoy a biscuit and a brew and chat with the innovation team about women’s outdoor gear
- This is a paid, ticketed event and tickets are limited so once they’re gone, they’re gone!

After the hike, why not stay a while and join the MTNHAUS innovation team over a cuppa for a fun, interactive session tackling what really works and what wildly misses the mark in women’s outdoor gear. This is your chance to get to know our innovation team, swap ideas, and let off a bit of steam about the state of outdoor kit today.
Whether you’ve got a genius fix for a product flaw, a list of gear pet peeves, or just want to chat about where design needs to go next, grab a brew and join the conversation. Help us shape the future of gear built by and for women in the outdoors.

IMPORTANT
This event is organised and coordinated by Outdoor Adventure Girls and Berghaus, who selects the meeting point, date and location.
A huge thank you to Berghaus for inviting us to be part of KMF and The Haus this year. Through their The Future (of Outdoors) is Female campaign they’re encouraging more women to get outdoors, connect with nature and discover the joy of walking, values that align perfectly with our own.
We’re incredibly grateful for their support in bringing women together for this event of friendship and adventure. This event simply wouldn’t be possible without them, and we’re so excited to be working together to inspire more women to get outside and explore.
