THE TOUR
Since 2023, Outdoor Adventure Girls has been offering bespoke travel tours for their 40,000 members. The international trips will focus on outdoor adventure, pushing guests out of their comfort zone and creating incredible connections with other women in the most sought-after bucket list destinations on Earth.
For this OAG Overseas tour, we are heading to the amazing country of Italy, or more specifically The Dolomites. This stunning region of Italy is home to the famous Lago di Brais, as well as some of the most well-known hikes in the world at Strudelkopf, Lago Federa and Three Peaks of Lavaredo. The trip includes a jam-packed 7 days of adventure with stops at all of the most amazing places to see in this magical country. All of this and more is why we are so excited to take you here in 2024.

Day 1 – Venice to Dobbiaco
Welcome to Venice! Upon arrival to Venice airport, you will be met and transferred to the pretty town of Dobbiaco which is nestled in a green valley surrounded by alps.

- Welcome meeting with Tour Leader
- Welcome dinner

Day 2 – Strudelkopf summit hike
Included activities
- Guided group hike up one of the popular summits in the region – Strudelkopf (2,000m above sea level)
- Taste the local’s favourite strudel at the foot of Strudelkopf
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel Sonne Sole or similar
Day 3 – Lago Federa hike
Included activities
- Guided group hike to Lago Federa (2,038m above sea level)
- Enjoy a cheese tasting at the cooperative dating back to 1882!
- Transport to and from activities

Day 4 – Lago di Brais and Monte Elmo hike
Included activities
- Travel to Lago di Brais to enjoy some of the most spectacular Alpine lake scenery
- Guided group hike at Monte Elmo (2,434 m above sea level)
- Optional Versacio cable car experience
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel Sonne Sole or similar
Day 5 – Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike
Included activities
- Full-day excursion exploring the Three Peaks of Lavaredo
- Picnic lunch with amazing views of the Dolomites
- Stop at Rifugio Locatelli for fantastic views of Laghi dei Piani
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel Sonne Sole or similar
Day 6 – Cinque Torri hike
Included activities
- Guided group hike to the famous Cinque Torri (this means five towers)
- Make a stop at Durrensee to enjoy a swim
- Transport to and from activities
- Farewell dinner

Day 7 – Dobbiaco to Venice airport
After breakfast, your Dolomites hiking adventure finishes with a group transfer to Venice Airport Marco Polo.

HIKE DETAILS
Strudelkopf Summit Hike: Today’s total walking distance is approximately 10 km, with 320m of elevation gain/loss and may take up to 5 hours.
Lago Federa Hike: Today’s total walking distance is approximately 9 km, with 470m of elevation gain/loss and may take up to 5 hours.
Monte Elmo Hike: Your walking distance today is approximately 7 km with 400 m of elevation gain/loss and may take up to 3 hours.
Tre Cime di Lavaredo Hike: Today’s total walking distance is approximately 11 kms, with 400 m of elevation gain. The time needed to complete Tre Cime di Lavaredo loop is 4 to 5 hours.
Cinque Torri Hike: Your walking distance today is approximately 10 km with 400 m of elevation gain/loss and may take up to 5 hours.
ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation for the trip will be at a traditional 3* hotel in the middle of The Dolomites. We have carefully chosen the accommodation to maximise your experience on this bucket list trip.
*You will be sharing a room with another guest, in a room with twin beds, with an ensuite. Rooms will be allocated randomly, unless specified otherwise.
PRICE
£2,499 per person including all as stated above and must be booked via Intrepid Travel.
To secure your place on this tour, the deposit is £200 per person. The remaining balance can be paid in full or can be paid in installments – you can speak to Intrepid about a payment plan.

*There will be one transfer per trip for arrival and one for departure. Attendees will be recommended a flight, but if you book alternative flights, transfers will not be provided and will be at the cost of the guest.
INSURANCE
It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the appropriate travel insurance for this trip. It is compulsory for all guests to have travel insurance. Please let us know if you have appropriate travel insurance before the trip.
FLIGHTS
Flights are not included as we wanted to give you the option of where to fly when and where you want. As a guide, there are direct flights to Venice from London from around £100 for direct flights.
However, if you want help booking flights, Intrepid Travel is on hand to help you throughout the booking process and can book flights for you if required.
