THE TOUR
Since 2023, Outdoor Adventure Girls has been offering bespoke travel tours for their 40,000 members. The international trips will focus on outdoor adventure, pushing guests out of their comfort zone and creating incredible connections with other women in the most sought-after bucket list destinations on Earth.
For this OAG Overseas tour, we are heading to the amazing country of Costa Rica. It is home to stunning waterfalls, the famous Manuel Antonio National Park and stunning volcanoes. The trip includes a jam-packed nine days of adventure with stops at all of the most amazing places to see in this magical country. All of this and more is why we are so excited to take you here in 2025.

Day 1 – San Jose
Hola! Welcome to Costa Rica.
Included activities:
- Group transfer from the airport to the hotel
- San Jose – Welcome Dinner
Accommodation: KC Hotel
Day 2 – Santa Rosa de Pocosol
Included activities:
- Transport from San Jose onward to Santa Rosa de Pocosol
- Santa Rosa de Pocosol – Home-cooked meal and locals’ homestay experience
- Leader-led informal Spanish Lesson
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Homestay (1 night)
Day 3 – La Fortuna
Included activities:
- Transport from Santa Rosa de Pocosol to La Fortuna
- La Fortuna – Orientation Walk
Accommodation: Hotel Las Colinas or similar
Day 4 – La Fortuna
Included activities:
- La Fortuna – Ecotermales Hot Springs and dinner
- La Fortuna – La Fortuna Waterfall
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel Las Colinas or similar
Day 5 – Monteverde
Included Activities
- Transport from La Fortuna to Monteverde (inclusion below)
- Boat ride across Lake Arenal onward to Monteverde
- Guided hike in the Monteverde Cloud Forest
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel Bosque Verde Lodge or similar
Day 6 – Monteverde
Included activities:
- Free time to explore the town and surrounding areas
- Optional: today is a good day to book other activities (speak to your guide about options)

Day 7 – Quepos
Included activities:
- Transport from Monteverde to Quepos
- Manuel Antonio – Cooking Class and lunch
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel TEVA & Jungle Reserve or similar
Day 8 – Quepos – Manuel Antonio National Park
Included activities:
- Manuel Antonio National Park
- Manuel Antonio National Park – Tour with a Naturalist Guide
- Manuel Antonio – Farewell Dinner
- Transport to and from activities
Accommodation: Hotel TEVA & Jungle Reserve or similar
Day 9 – San Jose Airport
There are no activities planned for the final day. You will be transferred back to the airport in time for the group flight. If you would prefer to spend more time at the beach, we can add additional nights for you, and your tour leader can advise where you can get a transfer or public bus locally.

ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation for the trip will be an array of 3* hotels. We have carefully chosen the accommodation to maximise your experience on this bucket list trip.
*You will be sharing a room with another guest, in a room with twin beds, with an ensuite. Rooms will be allocated randomly, unless specified otherwise.
PRICE
£1,799 per person including all as stated above and must be booked via Intrepid Travel.

✕ Airport transfers if you arrive or depart outside of the recommended times
*There will be one transfer per trip for arrival and one for departure. Attendees will be recommended a flight, but if you book alternative flights, transfers will not be provided and will be at the cost of the guest.
INSURANCE
It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the appropriate travel insurance for this trip. It is compulsory for all guests to have travel insurance. Please let us know you have appropriate travel insurance before the trip.
FLIGHTS
Flights are not included as we wanted to give you the option of where to fly when and where you want. As a guide, there are direct flights to Costa Rica from London from around £600 for direct flights.
However, if you want help booking flights, Intrepid Travel is on hand to help you throughout the booking process and can book flights for you if required.
