THE TOUR
Since 2023, Outdoor Adventure Girls has been offering bespoke travel tours for their 40,000 members. The international trips will focus on outdoor adventure, pushing guests out of their comfort zone and creating incredible connections with other women in the most sought-after bucket list destinations on Earth.
For this OAG Overseas tour, we are heading to the amazing country of Bali. This magical country is home to the iconic Mount Batur, the stunning Gili Islands and cultural experiences at Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. The trip includes a jam-packed 11 days of adventure with stops at all of the most amazing places to see in this magical country. All of this and more is why we are so excited to take you here in 2024.

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival in Bali – Ubud
Welcome to Bali! Upon arrival at Bali please make your way to the Golden Bird Lounge after clearing immigration and join your group transfer to our hotel in Ubud.

Day 2 – Ubud
Included activities
- Ubud – Balinese Offering experience at a local house and learn more about the symbolism of the statues and alters
- Proceed to Tampak Siring for a Water Purification at Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple
- All transfers to and from included activities
Accommodation: Sens Hotel and Spa or similar
Day 3 – Ubud
Included activities
- Morning cooking class with lessons on how to make the local’s favourite Balinese dishes
- All transfers to and from included activities

Day 4 – Ubud
Included activities
- Visit the world-famous Tegallalang Rice Terrace and admire the stunning panoramic views
- Visit Blangsinga Waterfall, a hidden gem in Bali’s heartland where we can swim
- All transfers to and from included activities

Day 5 – Ubud – Candidasa
Included Activities
- Early morning guided group hike up to the top of Mount Batur for sunrise
- Optional soak in hot springs with fantastic views over the lake (IDR 300,000)
- Transfer from Ubud to Candidasa
- All transfers to and from included activities
Notes on the hike: The summit trail starts more easily, while heading to the crater it climbs steeply with switchbacks over volcanic rocks and gravel. A good level of fitness is required. The path can be slippery, particularly after rain so good shoes are essential. Please bring your headtorch and a warm layer to wear at the summit. The climb may be cancelled during heavy rain and unsafe conditions.

Day 6 – Candidasa – Gili Trawangan
- Transfer to Padang Bai Port for your departure to Gili Trawangan by fast boat
- Upon arrival in Trawangan, you will be provided with bicycles to cycle to the hotel (luggage will be taken using horse and cart).
*There is no motorized vehicle on the island. So you will have to use a bike or walk to get around the island. - All transfers to and from included activities

Day 7 – Gili Trawangan
Included activities
- Full-day snorkelling adventure on the Gili Islands (includes 2-3 stops, plus a stop for lunch)
- All transfers to and from included activities

Day 8 – Gili Trawangan
- Enjoy a free day to relax on the island.

Day 9 – Gili Trawangan – Serangan – Sanur
Depart to Bali
- Transfer to our hotel in Sanur
Accommodation: Griya Santrian or similar
Day 10 – Sanur
- Free day for you to explore Sanur and the local markets
- Farewell group dinner
Accommodation: Griya Santrian or similar
Day 11 Sanur – Bali airport
- Transfers to Ngurah Rai International Airport (group basis)
ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation for the trip will be an array of 3* and 4* hotels. We have carefully chosen the accommodation to maximise your experience on this bucket list trip.
*You will be sharing a room with another guest, in a room with twin beds, with an ensuite. Rooms will be allocated randomly, unless specified otherwise.
PRICE
£1,599 per person including all as stated above and must be booked via Intrepid Travel.
To secure your place on this tour, the deposit is £200 per person. The remaining balance can be paid in full or can be paid in installments – you can speak to Intrepid about a payment plan.

*There will be one transfer per trip for arrival and one for departure. Attendees will be recommended a flight, but if you book alternative flights, transfers will not be provided and will be at the cost of the guest.
INSURANCE
It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the appropriate travel insurance for this trip. It is compulsory for all guests to have travel insurance. Please let us know if you have appropriate travel insurance before the trip.
FLIGHTS
Flights are not included as we wanted to give you the option of where to fly when and where you want. As a guide, there are flights to Bali from London from around £900 for direct flights.
However, if you want help booking flights, Intrepid Travel is on hand to help you throughout the booking process and can book flights for you if required.
