Accommodation
Our accommodation for the weekend is the stunning YHA Pen y Pass, situated at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), giving our group a head start up the mountain. What they lack in mobile signal, they make up in location and a comfy place to relax for a weekend in Snowdonia. We love staying here for our Snowdon weekends and can’t wait to return again in 2024.
Our accommodation for the trip will be in 4-bed and 6-bed dorms, exclusive to our group. If you’re booking with a friend let us know and we’ll make sure you get a room together.
NOTE: There is no car parking at this hostel, but it is limited parking across the road (paid for) but we always suggest guests make use of the parking in Llanberis and at Nant Peris where there is great car parking.
Food
Our meals for the weekend will be prepared on-site at YHA, for breakfast and dinner. Saturday lunch is not included, as we will be out on Snowdon and do not know a specific return time. Please do bring food with you for Saturday lunch, and snacks for the hike.

- Group kayaking session on Llyn Padarn with Boulder Adventures
- Group lunch on Sunday to end our weekend together
- Free time to explore town or head home
Getting here
The venue for our weekend is in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park,with the closest town being Llanberis around 10 minutes away. The nearest station is Betws-y-Coed. You can coordinate car-sharing in the trip WhatsApp group.

What kit do I need?
- Hiking/outdoor clothing including trail running shoes or hiking boots
- A towel and any cosmetics and toiletries
