THE TOUR
Since 2023, Outdoor Adventure Girls has been offering bespoke travel tours for their 40,000 members. The international trips will focus on outdoor adventure, pushing guests out of their comfort zone and creating incredible connections with other women in the most sought-after bucket list destinations on Earth.
For this OAG Overseas tour, we’re heading to the magical country of Slovenia – a true Alpine wonderland. Home to mirror-like lakes, dramatic peaks, pristine forests and turquoise rivers, this adventure offers five unforgettable days exploring some of the country’s most iconic natural treasures. From hiking Mt Vogel and walking the elevated paths of Vintgar Gorge to white-water rafting on the crystal-clear Soca River, this itinerary is packed with bucket-list moments. ITINERARY

Day 1 – Bled
Once you arrive there will be a group transfer awaiting your arrival which will transfer you to the hotel.
Živjo! Welcome to Slovenia – often called ‘Europe in Miniature’ This beautiful country is a paradise for adrenaline lovers, offering endless opportunities for adventure, from cycling, hiking and skiing to canyoning, caving and boating. Your journey begins with a welcome meeting at 6pm tonight in Bled, one of Slovenia’s most picturesque destinations.
Day 2 – Lake Bohinj & Mt Vogel
Meals included: Breakfast
After breakfast, take a public bus to Lake Bohinj – the largest permanent glacial lake in the country. Take the cable car to the top of Mt Vogel within Triglav National Park. The upper station lies above 1500 m (4920ft), from here you’ll hike toward Orlove glave. resting point, where you can ring the bell for a good luck! Take in the Alpine scenery of Julian Alps. Next stop is Sija peak, on a clear day you can catch a glimpse of Italy. Enjoy the amazing views of the mountains before heading back.

Day 3 – Bled
Meals included: Breakfast
Today head out on a hike around Bled through Vintgar Gorge, stopping for snacks and photo breaks along the way. Explore Bled’s gorgeous architecture and scenery, then walk across rapids, waterfalls and pools via an elevated boardwalk that clings to the craggy rock face.
Hiking time: 2-3 hours

Day 4 – Rafting on Soca Riva
Meals included: Breakfast
Pack your swimming gear and towel for a rafting trip on the Soka River today. On the way stop by the mountain town of Bovec famous for its breathtakingly beautiful natural sites. A professional guide will lead the group on a 1.5-hour journey through Class 2 and 3 rapids as well as gates and pools. You’ll pass alpine scenery and cypress trees as you navigate moss-covered boulders all the way downriver to Lancovo. There will be plenty of time for swim stops in the fresh water here and you’ll see the cascades of Boka Waterfall. After an exhilarating day, it’s a short drive back to Bled.

Day 5 – Bled

Today you will be transferred as a group back to the airport.


ACCOMMODATION
Our accommodation for the trip will be a 3*- 4* hotel. We have carefully chosen the accommodation to maximise your experience on this bucket list trip.
*You will be sharing a room with another guest, in a room with twin beds, with an ensuite. Rooms will be allocated randomly, unless specified otherwise.
PRICE
£1,375 per person including all as stated above and must be booked via Intrepid Travel.

INSURANCE
It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the appropriate travel insurance for this trip. It is compulsory for all guests to have travel insurance. Please let us know you have appropriate travel insurance before the trip.
FLIGHTS
Flights are not included as we wanted to give you the option of where to fly when and where you want. If you would like help booking flights, Intrepid Travel is on hand to help you throughout the booking process and can book flights for you if required.
There will be one transfer per trip for arrival and one for departure. Attendees will be recommended a flight, but if you book alternative flights, transfers will not be provided and will be at the cost of the guest.
