Outdoor Adventure Girls x YHA | Festival of Walking 2026

We’re so excited to announce that Outdoor Adventure Girls is officially partnering with YHA for this year’s Festival of Walking – a month-long celebration of walking, community, and the great outdoors!

From 12 September to 12 October 2026, YHA will be hosting their fifth annual Festival of Walking – and it’s shaping up to be the best one yet. With guided group walks starting from YHA hostels across England and Wales, plus a whole library of mapped self-guided routes, there’s something for every kind of walker.

We’ll be joining forces with YHA to lead a series of exclusive Outdoor Adventure Girls hikes, bringing together like-minded women who love to explore, connect, and discover the beauty of the UK’s trails. Expect stunning scenery, uplifting conversations, and the kind of feel-good days out that remind you just how powerful walking in nature can be.

Whether you’re looking to join a social group hike or set off solo with a route in hand, this is the perfect time to lace up your boots and get outside.
