Join us for an exhilarating adventure in the heart of the Lake District for this Outdoor Adventure Girls x OS Touch Grass Weekender.
This unforgettable weekend includes a guided group hike on the Fairfield horseshoe trail, led by expert mountain leaders—perfect for ticking this iconic challenge off your bucket list! Then you can unwind with a refreshing post-hike wild swim at the famous lake Windermere which shares its shoreline with our accommodation , soak in a stunning lakeside sunset, and connect with fellow adventurers during an evening games night.
On the Sunday dive into a group water adventure activity at Windermere before wrapping up the weekend with a hearty Sunday lunch. This retreat promises breath taking views, lasting memories, and new connections.

Accommodation
Our accommodation for the weekend is the stunning YHA Ambleside, overlooking Lake Windermere, with far reaching views of the wonderful Lake District National Park. YHA Ambleside is a stunning, recently refurbished place for us to base ourselves for our adventure weekend in the Lakes.
Our accommodation for the trip will be in 4-bed and 6-bed dorms, exclusive to our group. If you’re booking with a friend let us know and we’ll make sure you get a room together.
NOTE: There is car parking at this hostel, but there are limited spots, if the car park is full there is paid for on-street parking close by.
Food
Our meals for the weekend will be prepared on-site at YHA, for breakfast and dinner. Saturday lunch is not included, as we will be out all day, so please bring something to eat for Saturday lunch, such as a packed lunch.

Getting there
The venue for our weekend is in the middle of the Lake District National Park, just outside the town of Ambleside, and around 30 minutes from Windermere town. The nearest station is Windermere, or if driving you can coordinate car-sharing in the trip WhatsApp group.
